The Himbas, cousins of the Hereros, live in north-western Namibia in the remote region of Kaokoland. They too are still wearing their traditional costumes...in a barer style ! The women cover their skin with a mixture of cream and red earth. It protects them against the sun and
is also a beauty criteria. |
